Here at Varietus we take the 4D's of our Creative Design Process very seriously.  We believe that to achieve exceptional results you have to have an exceptional plan.  Here's how we work with our clients to make sure they receive exceptional results:

DEFINE

First, we have to define what exceptional web design results will look like.  This includes working with the customer to clearly understand not only their needs, but also their expectations. It is critical to the success of any project that, as my dad used to say, "you plan your work, and work your plan!" 

DESIGN

Depending on the scope of the project, the design phase may actually include several steps.  It's important that all designs are not only asthetically pleasing, but are also functional.  Most projects will include a Site Map, Flow Chart, Wireframe, and Screen Design mockups. In addition your project might require one or all of the following steps:  Personas, Usability Tests, a Competitive Analysis, a Concept Model, and a Content Inventory. Whatever your requirements are, you can be confident we will work to deliver the very best design possible.

Well, that was geeky.  I hope it was equally impressive.  Yes, we use all the standards-based tools to create effective designs, but we believe its more than that.  Varietus believes that web design is as much an art as it is a science. That being said, its really about communicating valuable information.  The web is a social creature.  We take the time to understand your needs and believe we will create a web design that will exceed your expectations.

DEVELOP

The website development process is really several separate development projects.  It is important to remember that on the web, content is king.  The only objective of the development is to creatively and effectively communicate your content. 

Those separate projects are the development of the content, the development of the backend technologies, and the development of the design.

 We are most well versed in HTML / xHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL, but have a wide network of affiliated companies that can help us with virtually every technology currently available on the web.  When a customer wants to be able to manage their content themselves, we recommend they use a Content Management System or CMS.  We regularly develop sites using WordPress and Joomla CMS platforms.

DELIVER
